Eligibility

Interior FCU is your natural resource for financial services! There are MANY ways to join the credit union, first and foremost, if you have an immediate family member who is a current Interior Federal Credit Union member then you qualify.

If you don’t have any family members that are credit union members don’t worry about it, just take a look at the many ways to join below.  Once you’ve found your eligibility get started by clicking the Become A Member button.  We look forward to you joining the credit union family!

  • Contractors and employees of contractors who work under contract with the U.S. Department of the Interior.
  • Family & Household– Immediate family members include: spouse, children, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren.  For purposes of this definition, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adopted children are also considered to be immediate family members.  Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this Credit Union.  Household members will consist of those individuals living in the same residence and who maintain a single economic unit.  This definition intends to embrace any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household.  Domestic partners and anyone who lives in the household and can demonstrate a degree of permanency will be considered to be household members.

  • Community of Faith Tabernacle Baptist who are members, employees, and volunteers in Springfield, VA;
  • Corps Cooperative who work in, or are paid or supervised from Tucson, AZ;
  • Corps Network in Washington, DC;
  • Council on Foundations, Inc. who work in Washington DC;
  • Defenders of Wildlife who work in, or are paid or supervised from Washington, DC;

  • Trout Unlimited – Employees, members, and volunteers of Trout Unlimited, who qualify for membership, Nationwide.

  • Employees of commissions and agencies receiving administrative and support services from the United States Department of the Interior.
  • Washington Parks & People who are members, employees, and volunteers in Washington, DC;
